In Botticelli’s masterpiece ‘The Birth Of Venus’, the goddess of love is portrayed standing on a large scallop shell. It’s one of the many reasons this ancient motif is symbolic of fertility and femininity. Shells, generally, hold a unique fascination for many people. A mystery. An other-worldliness. As the type of people who collect and obsess over beautiful shells, this design was lovingly created to encapsulate thousands of years of captivation.

The pendants are made right here in Britain, drawn by hand and cut with a big old laser. They’re made from solid 925 Sterling Silver, finished and polished by hand.
